Ed, Al and Winry arrive in Central, though Ling gets arrested for being an illegal immigrant. Sheska accidentally reveals some information on Roy to Envy, disguised as one of her superiors. When Ed and Al meet up with Roy, he lies about Hughes's death, but they soon learn the truth after encountering Ross. Winry soon finds out after visiting Gracia and Elicia, and Ed and Al arrive to apologise, since Ed blames himself for Hughes's murder. Gracia encourages them to push forward, even though she was holding back her tears. Ed later comforts Winry. Lust and Envy come up with a plan to stop Roy's curiosity, and the next day Ross is arrested as a suspect for Hughes's murder. Havoc meets up with his 'girlfriend' who is actually Lust probing him for military information.
